Zarco broke the all-time top speed record in FP4 at the 2021 Qatar GP, seven of the top 10 have now been set this year
MotoGP™ is getting faster and faster with each passing year as the world’s top engineers and riders aim to eke out any potential advantage they can find on their bikes. The results speak for themselves, with the top 10 speeds ever recorded on MotoGP™ machines coming in the past five years. At the 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar, we saw six new top speeds enter the fastest of all time, with Michele Pirro joining the list too after Friday Free Practice at Mugello.
Below is the current top 10, all of them outrageous speeds set on Ducatis:
1. Johann Zarco – 362.4 km/h – FP4, 2021 Qatar GP
2. Jorge Martin – 358.8 km/h – Q1, 2021 Qatar GP
3. Jack Miller – 357.6 km/h – Q2, 2021 Qatar GP

5. Andrea Dovizioso – 356.7 km/h – FP3, 2019 Italian GP
