First up, it could only be last year’s winner: Danilo Petrucci (Tech3 KTM Factory Racing). The Italian absolutely loves Le Mans, with three podiums in his last three visits, so he’s definitely worth a punt at 1.5M. Furthermore, he’s one of the very best in MotoGP™ when the rain starts to pour. You just have to look at his debut premier class podium at a sodden Silverstone, missing out on victory by less than a tenth at Assen in damp conditions and then, of course, his 2020 French GP victory. Fastest in Q1, third in Q2 before moving up two places on Sunday to 1st saw him leave Le Mans with a superb 42 points. Don’t be shocked if he repeats such heroics this weekend.
