Tyler Bereman and 805 Beer head to the Midwest.
Begin Press Release:
805 BEER EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION INTO KANSAS AND MISSOURI
X-Games Champion Tyler Bereman to Promote the Lauded California Ale at Events in North Kansas City, MO
Paso Robles, CA (March 21, 2023) – 805 Beer, introduces its iconic beer to Kansas and Missouri that reflects the spirit, lifestyle, and culture inspired by California’s Central Coast, where the beer is brewed. 805 Beer (ABV 4.7%) reaches the region’s shelves in March, in addition to existing distribution in 14 states across the country. The launch will be supported by events in North Kansas City, Missouri featuring Tyler Bereman, motocross freerider and X-Games gold medalist, on Thursday, March 30, 2023 and Friday, March 31, 2023.
Recognized by its golden color, light and crisp carbonation, and slightly sweet aroma, 805 Beer is an easy drinking, light-bodied blonde ale with a balanced hop flavor and a clean finish. Brewmaster Matt Brynildson was inspired by the lagers of Europe to create a beverage for the California lifestyle. As it has turned many light lager drinkers into craft beer drinkers, Brynildson noted 805 Beer as the beer he is most proud of due to, in his words, showing “what a craft beer can be.” 805 Cerveza, a California lager brewed with lime will follow in Kansas and Missouri after 805 successfully connects with beer drinkers in those markets.
“Beer drinkers in the Midwest have always been incredibly passionate about Firestone Walker and our family of beers,” said Nick Firestone, Firestone Walker’s Chief Operating Officer. “We’ve long heard their calls for 805, and we’re now excited to answer that demand by bringing fresh, cold 805 beer to Kansas and Missouri for the first time.”
In celebration of the launch, 805 and Bereman will host a free public screening and after party of the documentary film, “The House That Built Me: The Tyler Bereman Story” (TRT: 58:53), traces the path of Bereman’s success to his hometown origins and being a third-generation dirt biker, largely influenced by his grandfather and father.
