Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) snatched the top spot as P1 came to a close at the SHARK Grand Prix de France with a 1:42.402. Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI) led the way before being bumped off the top spot by the Japanese rider in the final five minutes, the young Brazilian finished the session in P2. Despite a trip to the gravel trap, Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) finished the session 0.750s away from Sasaki in P3.
