Italian to sample different solutions this weekend in Japan.
Monster Energy Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi says he’s aiming to solve some of his problems with the YZR-M1 over the trio of fly-away rounds, starting this weekend at the Japanese grand prix.
The multi-time world champion expressed his dissatisfaction in recent results, and his adamant he’ll sample different solutions across Motegi’s 16th round.
“During these upcoming three consecutive races we will try to solve some of our problems with the bike,” Rossi stated. “Obviously, we are not happy about the latest results and in Motegi we will try other solutions, something different. Motegi is a track that I like, and I will try to do a good race.”
The Italian is currently ranked sixth in the championship standings as four rounds remain on the calendar.
