As the final flying laps began, Pramac Racing’s Jack Miller sat at the top of the timesheets and was seemingly trying to drag around Ducati Team’s Andrea Dovizioso to try and aide his title charge. However, Miller backed out of his lap, Espargaro clinched top spot and for a split second it looked like the KTM man would be joined by brother Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) before Zarco stole the final spot in Q2.
