After another exciting round of MotoGP™ World Championship action in Barcelona, Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) reclaimed the lead atop the overall standings. The Frenchman started P2 and offered up an overtaking masterclass to secure his position at the front, a place he never relinquished. Meanwhile, it was double joy for Team Suzuki Ecstar as both Joan Mir and Alex Rins fought their way through the grid to claim P2 and P3 respectively – the first time the Hamamatsu factory have had both of their riders on the podium since Misano 2007.
