Finally, the 23-year-old Spaniard, the first woman to be a part of motogp.com’s Women of MotoGP™ series, touched on what life is like inside the paddock as the only female competitor: “I don’t see myself as a female rider, I see myself as just a rider like everybody else. I always get asked this but I don’t mind. I just like to show my speed on the track. I tell other female riders to just enjoy it, enjoy riding. That’s the most important thing. I feel more comfortable when I have some other girls in my team because we have more fun then!”
