Scheduled knee surgery will see Dean Wilson sidelined for the final four rounds of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross following a practice incident last week.

Wilson suffered a slight tear in his left meniscus and will now have it repaired in order to recover for the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season.

“It’s unfortunate that Dean had an incident while practicing,” said Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Stephen Westfall. We all agreed that it’s best to get it fixed now to be 100 percent for the start of Supercross and we wish Dean all the best and a speedy recovery.”

Wilson is currently 10th in the 450MX standings, with a best result of eighth overall at Ironman Raceway. He recently re-signed for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna to remain for next year in a one-year extension.
