Ferrari was caught out by the difficult conditions and crashed out as the session came to a close, the Italian was then unable to respond to attacks coming in from his competitors. Red sectors came flying in from Garzo and Torres as the Italian was a sitting duck at the side of the circuit, but the Gresini man’s time held strong and he will start Round 1 from pole position.
