The Frenchman, having taken pole position in both the Spanish and Andalucia Grands Prix, sits on a maximum 50 points. That’s 10 ahead of Yamaha rival Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) who has taken two P2s in qualifying so far in 2020, with Pramac Racing’s Francesco Bagnaia third in the BMW M Award standings after his P4 and P3 starts in Jerez.
