It’s all a bit spitty, since there’s no exhaust, and a bit precarious, since Brit genius Allen Millyard is going to kickstart his just-completed 1400cc 6-cylinder Z1 while it sits on a table in his garage. While he films the whole thing with a handheld camera.
Most people probably would’ve found an old KZ1300 Six to begin with, but he’d already built a V12 out of two of them, and that wouldn’t be the Millyard way; that wouldn’t have allowed him to use a hacksaw to graft another cylinder onto either end of the KZ1000 four-cylinder, or to reconfigure the crank into a 120-degree firing order. All in a day’s work for Millyard.
