The Czech rider made his World Championship debut in 2005 in the 125cc category, before a move to the intermediate class came in 2007. Abraham would stay in the intermediate class until the end of 2010 – the first year of Moto2™ – which was a season that saw him claim two podiums, including a Grand Prix victory in Valencia before making the step up to MotoGP™ in 2011. Abraham has competed in the premier class between 2011-2019, with a brief WorldSBK stint coming in 2016.
