Queenslander fights to ninth at the 13th round of MotoGP.
Jack Miller has expressed disappointment in the way his weekend unfolded at Misano’s 13th round of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, the Australian just managing to scrape into the top 10.
The round started slowly for the Pramac Racing ace in a weekend that saw all Ducati-mounted riders struggle, completing Friday in practice in P16 – the same position he qualified in.
The Queenslander was able to progress into the top 10 during the 27-lap outing, crossing the line in P9 after admittedly struggling with tyre set-up throughout the Italian stop.
“If I have to be honest, this hasn’t been a great weekend,” said Miller. “The feeling was never at the top and we struggled with all the tyres we tried. But we took important points for the standings. I can’t wait to be at Aragon.”
Miller was demoted from the top spot in the Independent Rider standings, and is currently ranked eighth in the championship points.
